EVENT DESCRIPTION !

Dive into the captivating realm where human perception meets artificial intelligence. "Artificial Aesthetics" challenges your ability to distinguish real images from AI-generated ones and showcases the creative potential of AI in visual storytelling. In the first round, participants will face 20 sets of questions, each containing three real photos and one AI-generated image. The participants have to correctly identify the AI-generated images within the given time limit. In the final round, teams will harness their creativity and technical skills to tell a story through AI-generated images. Each team will be given a specific human emotion. Using the provided AI model, they must create a sequence of images that depict a story expressing this emotion. The most imaginative and well-executed designs will rise to the top, with the top three teams claiming cash prizes. Join us in exploring the blurred lines between the real and the artificial.

ROUND 1

In the inaugural round of "Artificial Aesthetics," participants will be tested on their ability to identify AI generated images. Each participant will be presented with 20 distinct sets of questions. Within each set, three images are authentic images, while one has been generated using artificial intelligence. The objective is to correctly identify the AI-generated image in each set. Participants will have a limited time to analyze and make their selections for each set. Points will be awarded for each correct identification, and the ten highest-scoring individuals will advance to the final round. This round not only tests participants' ability to discern AI from reality but also raises awareness about how AI images can deceive people and create misinformation

ROUND 2

In the final round, the top ten participants will showcase their creativity and technical skills in using Image generation AIs. Each team will be assigned a specific human emotion, such as joy, sorrow, anger, or fear. Their task is to create a compelling story that conveys this emotion, depicted through a series of AI-generated images. A panel of judges will evaluate the stories based on how effectively they convey the assigned emotion, the creativity of the narrative, relevance of images to story and consistency between images.
